Many baseball programs have very high costs for their program. The Baseball Dream is the only program in the area that offers high-level coaching with coaches who played in and or coached in college at an affordable price.

Murray Ruggiero is the owner and head coach of The Baseball Dream. Coach Ruggiero grew up in a family where it was tough to afford travel baseball. He says, “I started our AAU Baseball program to offer an affordable option for high-level baseball in the state of Connecticut because I wished there was a program like mine when I was young.” Coach Ruggiero’s impressive baseball resume includes not only playing college baseball but also coaching at the Division II college level.

The Baseball Dream had its first town-based travel baseball program for players 12 and under in 2017. Starting in 2018, they began recruiting for their first AAU travel baseball program which debuted in 2020 for the 12 and under age group. In the summer of 2023, the baseball program will premiere its first college showcase 16U team.

The Baseball Dream Difference

There are many teams in Connecticut that offer AAU Travel Baseball. The difference at The Baseball Dream is price and instruction. Why pay $4,000 for a program that will just take everyone and make a A, B, C, and D for each age group?

At The Baseball Dream, we offer ONE TEAM for each age group, REAL tryouts, and player development. Too many programs are offering C and D teams which cost over $4,000 when you play 30 games in the same league everyone does. We require legitimate tryouts which the player must pass in order to make the team. It is not automatic like most of these programs. Players will play the same elite competition for a fraction of the cost.

You can expect 8-10 showcase tournaments each summer, that are played on high-class fields in Connecticut and nearby states.
